Should I book events/tours before my arrival?
I've planned a 3 week trip to Australia and was wondering if it is better to book tours/day trips that I am interested in doing now, rather than when I arrive in each city.
I've read about people meeting others in hostels and doing these excursions with their new friends. I am not sure the likelihood of other people staying at the exact same time as me and wanting to do the same trips.
When you know that you want to go a day trip or do something in a particular city do you buy a ticket in advance?
Just one for example: The Sydney Harbor Bridge Climb, did you need to buy a ticket in advance? I would hate for it to sell out.
