I'm going to be in Peru for 4 weeks between May and June and was hoping to get some insight on transportation. I've been reading some pretty mixed information on what the best bus companies are in Peru (cost +safety). From what I've read, PeruHop seems like a safe choice but it's very expensive (+$200 Lima to Cusco). I'm hoping that someone can share their experiences on other bus services besides PeruHop and that anyone who has ridden with PeruHop can share what they thought of the experience.
