Most north-western part of California to see giant trees?
We already have a plan in place doing a giant loop from Vancouver to Glacier Nat Park, to Yellowstone, cut across West and back via Oregon Coast.
BC > WA > ID > MO > WY >ID > OR > WA > BC.
We have taken a bit more time off than expected and wondering what the most northern place to see California Giant Sequoia Redwood Trees. I don't think we could make it all the way to Yosemite this trip but could probably stretch to the North West of Cali. Worth it? Or save for another year?
We wont change our core loop, just thought since we are making our way from Grand Tetons across to Oregon Coast we could dip further south with this time off and nip the tips of Nevada and Cali.
Thanks
EDIT: we are avoiding cities this trip, please no city related recs :)
