Looking for feedback- Choose your own adventure style trips that co-plans activities for solo female travelers?
Hey solo travelers!
I hope this is okay to post here- I’m looking for feedback on an idea just to gauge interest, viability, and maybe get some good advice!
As an avid lady solo traveler, I still think that sometimes traveling alone can be scary. I like getting out of my comfort zone, but sometimes approaching complete strangers can be a bit to risky for me. So, to address this problem, I want to start a travel company that curates a community of like minded women and co-plans their trips with other members in the company's community. I see this as a middle ground between solo and group travel as it allows women to have the freedom and independence of solo travel while being able to enjoy experiences with others (that aren’t “complete” strangers).
For example, we plan two trips to Paris. Members indicated they love art and would love someone to hang out and discuss art with. We would co-plan their vacations who they meet up at a museum for a few hours. They can part ways or continue to hang out.
We plan trips using a “choose your own adventure” style layout that makes flexibility and freedom an option an we still get to plan and recommend cool places to visit.
Hope this makes sense- would love any and all thoughts, especially from the lady solo travelers in this subreddit.
