Is a filtered water bottle safe enough or is buying bottled water the only good option? (southeast asia)
Hi. I'm not sure if I should post this here but since it's related to travelling (solo in this case) I hope it's not a problem.
I'll be spending 2 months in SEA and my travel doctor gave me a bunch of recommendations (vaccines, food cautions, etc...). She told me I shouldn't drink or wash my teeth with tap water and that I should only use bottled water.
I should have asked her about it then but I didn't really remember. Would one of those filtered water bottles be enough to make tap water safe? I would prefer not to buy 2 plastic bottles a day, as that would be a waste and bad for the environment etc...
