Is a eurorail global pass worth it?
I am traveling to Europe this May for a month and was planning on getting a eurorail global pass good for 15 days of travel in a Month. It’s around $320
I chose the eurorail pass because although I have a set list of cities I’m going to I want to play it buy ear instead of traveling on specific dates. I was browsing this subreddit and have seen some people call it a scam. I’ve done research to see that it’s not a scam but might not be worth it. Has anyone had a good/bad experience with a global pass and have any advice? Also I’m willing to spend a couple hundred more if it’s more convenient
My “schedule” is below
Barcelona- Paris- Amsterdam- Berlin- Krakow- Vienna- Athens- Greek islands- Istanbul (flying from Athens)
I plan on going to these cities but might want to venture to other smaller places if I feel like it. Any advice will help as this is my first solo trip to Europe.
Also does eurorail allow you to use domestic rail in each country. The map on their website only shows links to major cities
