Sorry if this sounds ignorant, but it'll be my first time travelling to asia (Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodja). I'll be going for 2 months (July and August) which means it's going to be rainy season. Now, after doing some research, I found that monsoon season is not that bad and actually has some advantages (less crowds). The things is, while I like the idea of not being surrounded by crowds of other tourists, one of the reasons for me to solo travel is to meet people, make friends, maybe hookup who knows. Will that be much harder to do during this time?
