First time solo traveling. What's the best European destination for holidays in Nature for 4/5 days during the summer?

Hi solo travelers,

I've booked a week off in June and my plan is to solo travel to some place in Europe where I can be in touch with nature. It's the first time I do something like this so I'm looking for recommendations!

My idea is to rent a cabin/bungalow/lodge in a small village where I can chill (cook, read...) and then spend most of the day hiking and appreciating beautiful scenery. Having a river nearby to swim is also a plus. Some similar threads suggest the Alps, but I'm looking for a more specific place. Any suggestions?
