First Solo Travel in Spain (Sitges and Barcelona)

I’m (24M) traveling solo for the first time, this will be my second time traveling internationally. I’ll be in Sitges for about 5 days for a conference then planning on staying in Barcelona for my last 6 days in early May. Is this too long in each city? I think I’d rather not feel rushed and have time to see the cities fully but I’ve noticed a lot of people only spend 2-3 days in these cities. I spent 2 weeks in Tokyo and never ran out of things to do but perhaps that city is different.

AirBnBs seem way cheaper than hostels but I imagine I could meet a lot of people in hostels. Would it make sense to spend the first night or two in hostels then AirBnBs after that? I don’t have a ton of money right now so trying to save where I can.

Would Tinder, Bumble, or any other similar app be a decent way to meet people and to hopefully find someone fun to show me around?

I’m a little worried about my Spanish, or lack there of. Took 3 years in high school but never used it so I’ve been brushing up on it. Recognize most common words but can’t imagine keeping up with a conversation. Guess I don’t really have a question for this part.

Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! And if anyone is going around the same time let me know and we can try to link up!
