First road trip with little sister?
I'm 23, and my sister is 14. She's been making us a summer bucket list for a couple years now and it always includes a road trip. I'm a female who never really did things like this as a younger adult and I've only ever travelled very far as an adult with my boyfriend. I went on a four hour trip by myself once, but was driving toward family. I want to take my sister out of Nebraska for a little something, maybe to Kansas City or Des Moines over a weekend. Maybe hit up an amusement park. But I'm not going to lie, I'm nervous. Not only will it just be a girls trip, but I'll be responsible for her. She's pretty much independent but still. SO, this leads me to ask for any advice on traveling alone with a teenager, as a young inexperienced woman. I'm pretty anxious and hypervigilant. I'd like to have some sort of plan, knowledge, and pepper spray.
