First International Solo Trip! Seeking advice/recommendations (25 y/o Female)

I'm going on my first INTERNATIONAL solo trip in Europe this Summer! I have traveled to a few cities in the US (NYC, Boston, Chicago) alone but I'm really excited to go a little outside my comfort zone and explore some places outside of the US on my own. I will be flying in and out of London and plan on spending my last four or five days in London, but for the rest of my trip I am very open to suggestions!

I have already traveled to these cities and would like to avoid revisiting:

· Amsterdam

· Paris

· Florence

· Rome

· Sorrento/Capri

· Athens

· Delphi

· Frankfurt

· Baden Baden

Length: two weeks, August 4th-18th. I will be spending the last 4-5 days in London with family, so for the rest of my trip I would like to visit an additional 2-3 destinations, staying for 3-4 days per location.

Budget: I already have my roundtrip flight booked and would like to spend no more than $400 on additional flights between locations (some wiggle room but not much). I am not very into shopping so the only money I will be spending besides flights would be for food and accommodations. I will probably stay at hostels and try to stick to a $50/day budget for food/anything else that comes up.

Climate: I am looking for a more relaxing beachy vacation. I would love to see some sites, but I also would like to be close to a beach for the most part.

Interests:

· Relaxing on the beach. Every other vacation I have taken has been jam packed with seeing all the sites, which is great, but I want this vacation to be more low key and slow-paced.

· Good food is always a bonus.

· Culture, not too “touristy.”

· A location with good hostels, easy to meet people.

Safety: my only real concern is being able to get around relatively easily. I don’t plan on renting cars so anywhere I visit would need to be accessible via plane, train, taxi, public transportation, etc. I imagine this will mean staying in a city, but I am open to recommendations of lesser known destinations that are relatively easily accessible!

Some places I had in mind (open to positive or negative feedback for these locations!):

· Lisbon

· Porto

· Barcelona

· Ibiza

· Amalfi

I think that's all I have. I'd be happy to clarify if there are any questions though!
