[Film photographer] Planning for a week-long trip in Iceland (first time) end of May
Hey there!
It isn't my first time doing solo travel however Iceland seems to be a whole different ball game due to the cost, general secluded nature of it all. I'm going to be there for a week (initially it was going to be 2 weeks but I don't think I'd have the money for that), the main purpose is to do a road trip and just take as many photos as possible. I have some ideas of a zine in mind and other creative projects in mind, but I would say the purpose of the trip is to make connections and get usable images that I can repurpose, but also images with a purpose in mind from the get-go (as I have alluded to earlier on).
I'm a minimalist backpacker, and would very much like tips. I don't think I can camp, as in, the initial investment would probably be too much. Definitely a fit outdoorsy person, so I'm not a afraid to get down and dirty. My concerns are mostly to do with food, fuel, and accommodation. But the main point is to find someone or some people to do this with people, in a sort of collaborative artistic pursuit of sorts. I'm used to right hand driving (hail from a former British colony called Singapore), so experienced drivers would be a bonus lol beyond that, just wanna say hey!
