Europe during Holiday Season
Hey guys! I need some advices of those who have been to Europe during the Holidays Season. I have 2 weeks of vacation 12/21 to 01/06. The initial idea was going to Italy with my bf on a road trip. However, he won’t be able to take those weeks off cause he got a new job. No biggie, I’ll go solo. The thing is: since he is not going I am free to choose another destination in Europe. I first thought on Dublin (my best friend lives there) + London + Paris. BUT I remembered it will be freaking cold there during that time of the year. So I thought on traveling within France: Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Nice, Lyon, back to Paris. I was checking on the train and hostels prices and everything is SUPER EXPENSIVE — I am from South America, so my currency is nothing compared to Euro. The thing is: I started to think about Dublin + London + Paris again. Have you guys been to those cities on the winter? How is the weather like? Freaking cold is not a problem, I’ve lived in Chicago before. I’m just afraid of lots of rain, and ending up spending my vacation in the hostel. Thanks!
