Hello friends! So I’m heading to colombia May 10th. Will be flying into bogota at 9:50 pm and planned on staying at a hostel maybe going out. Here is my rough itinerary.. I’m looking for some advice to follow out the gaps. May 10-flying into bogota at night (9:50) May 11- walk around bogota until the afternoon then catch a flight to Medellin since my flight also leaves from bogota and I can do some backtracking May 11-May14: Medellin. I heard this is a great city so I want to spend quite some time here also may 11 is my birthday. I’m looking for any advice surrounding Medellin any recommendations for day trips etc. I heard there is an awesome lake people take a day trip to. May 14: fly to carthagena around noon. Spend time at beach and surrounding places. I plan on spending a few more nights here but any other recommendations like the best way to get to Tayrona national park? If you’ve been to colombia what is an absolute must see/must do? Also best hostels would be helpful. Thanks guys
