I have just booked return flights to Sydney for just over two weeks in July.

I’m 26 years old and have never travelled (properly) alone before. I’m excited and scared at the same time!

Any tips on the best way to spend my time in Australia would be great. My flights are to and from Sydney but I was thinking of making my way up to Cairns over the time then flying back before flying home.

How do I meet people when traveling? I’m not a massive fan of hostels as I like my own space when I sleep. I’d rather pay a bit more for a private space!
