About booking my first trip to Spain.
This would be my second time traveling internationally. I'm at Bogotá at the moment but I wouldn't consider this solo travelling as I'm staying at a friend's. Anyway, I'm planning to go on the end of May and my main concern is money here, as I said, this is my second time traveling and I have never traveled this far. I want to stay for around a month. If my maths are right I'm going to bring around ~$3000, I want to go to Madrid and I have no idea about some stuff,
- Expenses in general (Food, services (Internet is the most important thing here because I work remotely))
- Places to stay
- Invitation letter?
- Opening a bank account as a non-resident (I use Transferwise so this would come more than handy since I can transfer to that account)
I'm from latin america so I don't need a VISA to stay on Spain for tourism as far as I know.
It'd come handy if someone could lend me a hand on those topics. Where to book places to stay? Is Airbnb enough here or are those places too expensive? I know Madrid is not the cheapest place neither so I was looking on spending around ~700€ on rent maybe? Not sure if that's too much or what.
