13 Day Solo Europe Trip

Just booked all of my flights/hotels for a 13 day trip to Europe. I hate being in the same place for more than a day or two and try to make the most of my time. I sacrificed going out at night in order to wake up earlier, travel to another city, or to save money. Only taking a backpack with me.

Hoping some people have thoughts on this itinerary. With flights and hotels it’s coming in around $1,000, which I’m very happy about. I’ve done a similar 8 day trip in Europe before and like the pace (it keeps me from wasting time imo).

Day 0: Fly from SWF (Newburgh, NY) at 2100.

Day 1: Arrive Dublin 0800. Walking tour at 930 (May skip, it was free), Guinness Factory tour at noon. Jameson Tour at 1400. Fly to Amsterdam at 1900. Hostel in Amsterdam.

Day 2: Try to get Anne Frank tickets. Dutch Resistance Museum. 1400 Travel to Utrecht then to Buren (my ancestral hometown) to have dinner with mayor and see where my family lived in the 1500s/1600s. Return to Amsterdam. Hostel in Amsterdam.

Day 3: Try to get Anne Frank Tickets. Van Gogh Museum. Rejksmuseum. Heineken Experience. Fly to Oslo 2145. Hotel near airport.

Day 4: Combo Land/Fjord Cruise 1000-1730. Fly to London 2235. Hostel in London.

Day 5: London Museums and sightseeing. Hostel in London.

Day 6: 0800 Fly to Prague. Prague Castle tour at 1430. Beer Tour. Hostel in Prague.

Day 7: Prague Museums. 1720 fly to Venice. Hostel in Venice.

Day 8: Venice Tours/Museums. 2030 Fly to Barcelona. Hotel in Barcelona (with Laundry!!!!)

Day 9: Barcelona Tours/Museums. Will probably hang out on the beach a lot and treat it as a mid trip break. 2045 Fly to Vienna. Hostel in Vienna.

Day 10: Hitler History tour. Museums. 2030 Fly to Warsaw. Hotel in Warsaw.

Day 11: Debating on heading down to Krakow and visit Auschwitz but probably not and stick to Old Town Warsaw/Museums. 2030 Fly to Paris. Hostel in Paris.

Day 12: Visit the Louvre/Eiffel Tower/Notre Dame. 2200 Fly to Copenhagen. Hotel in Copenhagen.

Day 13: Explore Copenhagen as much as possible before my 1700 flight back to New York. Arrive in NYC at 2000.
