We (me, husband, toddler and infant) are planning a road trip around Georgia from New Orleans (home) in May. We have a rough idea of a route we want to take but would love any ideas of places to stop, different amounts of time to stay places, or things to do in different cities.

We have 9 nights to spend. Rough outline of amount if nights in each area.

1- Montgomery, AL

2- Helen, GA (Tallulah Falls)

2- Greeneville, SC (have family here)

2- We would like to see Charleston, Savannah and some of the islands along the East Coast of Georgia, but don't know where to stop or stay for the night along this part of the route.

2- Destin, FL (have family here)

Any ideas or advice to make the most out of this trip is welcome!
