Next month I’ll be moving from Abilene , TX to Sumter, SC. So instead of taking I-20 the whole way there, I’m taking the scenic route! Most of the stops on the way I’ll have a place to stay, but just wanted to see if anything was worth seeing. I’ll be going from Abilene to San Antonio > Houston > Nola > Pensacola/destin > Birmingham > ATL > Sumter. Any notable places to stop by for a beer or some good food? Even nice landmarks would be nice. Overall probably gonna spend about 2-3 days in each location. TIA.
