I feel like I lack the confidence to travel solo
Hey everyone!
So I'm in my last year of school and am in the midst of planning an approximately 7 week trip to Europe next year around July-September time (during my gap year). I'm looking for any advice or recommendations on those who have completed their own solo trips, specifically in the follow places - Portugal, Barcelona, Prague, Vienna and Dubrovnik. I'm someone who has a hard time being alone and the aim of this trip is to make memories, experience the world but mainly develop myself and find strength and confidence in myself. Naturally I am a VERY extroverted and sociable person and for this reason I find it difficult to be alone and I find myself constantly doing things to keep myself busy.
One of my main concerns is heading to Boom Festival (Portugal) in the first few weeks of the trip as it is something I've always wanted to go to but I'm very unsure as to what the experience will be like. Of course I have general concerns, so anyone whose experienced a similar issue or anyone with advice it would be greatly appreciated!
