How to get around in Ireland without renting a car?
Let me start this by saying I'm terribly sorry for my ignorance regarding this, I've been to several countries but they've all been with groups and tours. I'm planning my first trip by myself and I've been dying to go to Ireland since early childhood, so I felt like it was the obvious choice for my first solo trip. I'm 19 and from the United States, if that is relevant information at all.
Regarding my question, is there a service similar to Uber in Dublin? My trip will be primarily in the Dublin area, but I do plan to go to Ballyfin and stay in the hotel there for a few days (without going into much detail, it's one of the reasons why I've wanted to visit Ireland for such a long time). I'm afraid that I (once again, without going into much detail) cannot drive due to health issues and therefore cannot rent a car for my trip.
Is there an Uber-like service in Ireland? Is there a way for me to schedule rides to and from a certain location?
My biggest concerns are 1. being able to make it out to Ballyfin and 2. being able to make it back to Dublin afterwards.
