Houston, TX to Vancouver, BC to Austin, TX in 10 days?
Hi everyone! I am currently in the starting stages of planning out a road trip from Houston to Vancouver to Austin. It’ll be my first solo road trip, and while the prospect of it is exciting, I’m not sure if 10 days is enough to get there and back while also stopping at several places.
I’m using Roadtrippers, and the route from Houston to Vancouver has me going through New Mexico, Utah, Idaho, and some of Washington. The route from Vancouver to Austin has me going through Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, and New Mexico.
Some of the things I’m interested in seeing on the way are National Parks, museums, and historic sites, but I’m okay with not stopping at every single one on my way there or back. I’d be sleeping in my car or at the homes of people I know, depending on where I am. Does 10 days sound like enough for this?
