Not quite solo travel, but you've got to start somewhere I guess, and I want to drive round northern Europe solo within the next few years.

I'm going to a music gig in Leeds by myself later this evening, can you guys give me any tips for going out solo as I feel pretty uncomfortable about it all already. I'll more than likely be going to pubs/bars, not nightclubs and I may grab some food first too.
