Hi All

I am trying to plan a trip to Japan/North Vietnam in early June this year. My main interests are cultural/relaxed trip, with some exploration and maybe hiking. For that reason, I wanted to spend a few days in Tokyo and explore the culture there, then head to Hanoi for a few days, Ha Long bay v. Cat Ba (not sure which would be better), and end the trip with a relaxing few days around Hoi An staying at a beach resort in the area. My proposed itinerary is below! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't be 100% opposed to leaving out Tokyo and going to just Vietnam, but it doesn't add much in terms of flight costs, just about half a day in travel. If I left out Tokyo, I would probably be interested in focusing mostly on the north of Vietnam, but the appeal of adding a second country is high.
