Would not allow me to board plane
Today I went to the airport to board my plane for Indonesia where I was planning to stay for approximately 90 days. I am a US Citizen, Indonesia allows us to arrive and immediately apply for a 30-day tourist visa. In the past, I was able to extend my 30-day visa by taking a single day round-trip flight to Singapore and back to acquire a new 30-day tourist visa. However today they wouldn't let me on. So I came home disappointed after losing significant $$$ and booked another flight with a different airline, this time my entire trip was just shy of 60-days and I pre-booked flights to Singapore around the halfway mark.
Has anyone run into this issue before? Also how can I prove that I have an outbound flight to Singapore, I don't imagine an email itinerary will be enough. I'm calling JAL tomorrow when their support lines are open.
