Hello,

My boyfriend and I are taking a road trip to South Dakota to see Mount Rushmore at the end of May for a week. We are starting off in Chicago, then stopping in Sioux Falls for the night, then driving into Badlands National Park, then into Rapid City to spend the night again. This leaves around 3-4 days else where, then a day or two to drive back.

I guess my questions are:

  1. Does anyone have any suggestions on things to do, places to see or restaurants that we should visit?
  2. We are debating bringing our bikes on the trip, what are you thoughts?
  3. Worth the time to go through North Dakota on our way back to see Theodore Roosevelt National Park?
