Skipping Amsterdam for Prague & Budapest?
Hi there,
This is sort of a continuation of my previous post; just to keep things short, the initial plan was to travel:
- Berlin (5 days)
- Amsterdam (3 days) + day-trip to Ghent/Antwerp
However, a friend suggested, I travel to Eastern Europe since I'm already in Europe and skip Amsterdam (for now):
- Berlin (5 days, weekends for partying)
- Dresden (2 days)
- Prague (2 days)
- Budapest (3-4 days, weekends for partying)
Would it be possible to add Amsterdam (3 days?) on a budget of $4,000, excluding flights or just plan it for some other time? That was my previous budget for the first trip cause I prefer private rooms opposed to hostels, but if I'm doing multiple countries/cities, I'm open to hostel choices.
I've considered Vienna before heading to Budapest, but heard it's quite expensive, so haven't included it in the plan; perhaps squeeze in Salzburg instead? My timeline is pretty flexible, so if it requires more time, it should be fine; bearing in mind the budget.
Once again, thank you in advance for all your advice.
