Return to Italy
I lived in a little town 20 min Northwest of Milan for 3 months last fall/winter (late sep to early dec) for work. During that time I traveled all over northern Italy and Florence. I worked during the week and travelled around during weekends. And now I want to experience the South. The weather was perfect and there weren’t a lot of tourists.
My stay this time around won’t be as long. I am planning on going for only 10 days to Rome and Positano either this April or June.
I am not sure what to expect weather-wise. Is April a good time for Positano and Rome? I don’t really love the heat so I’m leaning towards going in April instead.
My itinerary:
Apr 11: Arrive Thursday 17:30 in Rome Apr 14: Leave Sunday in the AM for Positano VIA train Apr 16: Leave Tuesday in the AM for Rome Apr 19: Fly home
I could probably squeeze in a few day trips here and there but I want to enjoy this vacation and not rush. Is this enough time to enjoy Rome and Positano? Should I add a day trip?
