Planning to do a month-ish long roadtrip next year around the UK - Need some help, read below.
So me and my friends have recently decided to try and do a month(-ish) roadtrip around the UK. Planning on hitting like the most popular places around the Uk while starting in London.
What I wanted to ask is what do me and my friends need to take into account. We are all 18 right now and wil lbe 19 when it comes to this trip, we intend to purchase and old and cheap like campervan and sort it out a bit to suit out needs. Off the top of my head in costs I can think of, buying the cheap vehicle probably a couple thousand pounds, then insurance for the vehicle, food costs, costs to enter camping parks and stuff?, potentially random gym day passes if we need to jump in for a shower or something like that, maybe a heritage pass if we find use in it and fuel. Off the top of my head thats the main thing I can think of.
Would you lads and ladies be able to breakdown what we need to calculate in costs and stuff to make this work. Keeping in mind we intend to buy a vehicle like a 'Mazda Bongo' or something that is cheap and will pretty be our transport and bed.
Thanks in advance, this is a really really fresh idea that we thought about a few days ago so please try not to cringe at my missing of key factors.
