Hi Reddit,

I come to you in seek of help. I'm a US citizen in the US who is applying for his passport for the first time. I am currently 21 and in a university in the middle of nowhere. I know that the passport fee is $110 that is made out to the State Department. I also know that the acceptance facility charges $35 base fee. Who do I charge the expedited shipping and 1-2 day delivery to? The State department's calculator says it goes to them but I am unsure. Doesn't the acceptance facility ship it?

The reason I desperately need help is because I dont have any checks. I went into my local bank of america, where i am a customer, and this branch in the boonies wont let you just get a single check. I dont have time to get a book so I am using money orders.
