Packing for my first big solo trip! SEA Asia, New Zealand and Canada
Hi all! In just under 2 weeks I’m setting off on my first solo trip for the next six months. I’ve done a lot of two week trips but have never been away for so long. I’d appreciate any advice if I’ve packed too much or if I’m missing anything.
I’m going to south east Asia for 4 months, New Zealand for 1 month and Canada for 1 month. My parents are meeting me at the end of my Asia trip and are swapping some of my clothes for winter clothes as it’ll be winter in New Zealand!
Below is a list of everything I’m packing - am I missing anything? Photo here!
Not pictured: bug spray, sun cream, shampoo/soap, day rucksack, water bottle, Tupperware. Planning to buy 2 x pairs basic bitch baggy pants in Asia and a scarf to visit temples,
3 x ankle socks 3 x longer socks 9 x underwear 2 x bras 6 x tops 1 x shorts 1 x sports bra 2 x leggings 2 x dresses 1 x fleece 1 x anorak 1 x hat 2 x bikinis
1 x towel
1 x teddy
1 x walking boots 1 x trainers 1 x sandals
1 x sunglasses 1 x glasses 1 x eye mask
1 x pack of period products 4 x earplugs 1 x inflatable neck pillow
3 x mini folders for important docs, passport, mementos etc.
1 x kindle and charger 1 x iPod and charger 1 x power pack and charger 1 x head torch 1 x iPhone and charger 1 x adapter with 4 USB ports
Orange pack: 2 x razors 1 x toothpaste 5 x bobbles 1 x toothbrush Lots x the pill 3 x inhalers 6 x condoms 1 x paracetamol, ibuprofen, antihistamine, diarrhoea tablets 1 x hairbrush with mirror 1 x nail clippers 1 x spray 1 x deodorant 1 x foundation, mascara, concealer 1 x mini sewing kit
