HELP! Is there a way to get to the Guatemala/Belize border from Flores/Tikal/El Cruce after 2pm?

Hi all - I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I'm trying to figure out how I can get from Tikal/Flores to San Ignacio after 2PM. Most of the hostels and bus lines only have transportation in the morning at like 5/6/7 am to Belize City. However, I want to do the Tikal tour in the morning so I can head to San Ignacio in the afternoon for ATM cave tour the next day.

I'm wondering if it's possible to catch a collectivo or local bus after 2PM from El Cruce and head west to the border after 2pm? Or if there is any official transport / private transport possible from either Flores or Tikal.
