Go hard or go home?
I’m currently 3 months into this epic Central America journey, and now, time has come where I relatively soon need to make the decision whether to go home or to keep on travelling...
If I go home at the end of March I have a well-paid, pretty nice job waiting for me at home (although with a 1.5 h commute one way), I’ll keep my budget and my promise to family and friends that I won’t be gone for 5 longer than months.
What my heart tells me to do is to stay in Nicaragua until my visa expires (March 11th) and then go to Mexico and stay for at least 6 weeks, coming home in the beginning of May with considerably less money and no job.
I know that I’m the one who’ll inevitably have to make the decision, but I’d love some input from you guys. If you’ve been in a similar situation, what did you end up doing? I’ll appreciate any thoughts on the subject.
