Hey all,

So I'm currently planning on taking my first European backpacking trip in September of this year. I've read this thread and others to gain some insight. I'm looking to go for at least 2 months (more if I can stretch my money far enough). I'm planning on doing as cheaply as possible (staying in hostels, cooking some meals, not paying for tours). I know that the total cost will obviously depend on the cities I plan on visiting but I'm just wondering if those who have done similar trips would be able to provide a rough estimate of what they spent (not including flight or equipment costs). ?
