Any suggestions what city/country to stay for 2-4 weeks before Thailand?
I spent the past 2 years solo traveling in SEA (Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, etc.)
I am back in the USA now and am planning to head back to Thailand in April for Songkran. I wanted to head somewhere before for 2-4 weeks in March before heading back to Thailand. Also I have never been anywhere in Europe before.
I have an online business so I need a place with decent internet (5-10mbps average is fine, the faster the better), I also am vegetarian so good vegetarian food in multiple locations is a plus. A bonus would be somewhere with a cheap gym so I can work out 3+ days a week as well. I don't mind chilly weather, but don't want anywhere super cold like where I'm at now (in Detroit).
Right now I'm looking at tickets to Osaka (I have been to Tokyo before) for Cherry Blossom Season (day trips to Kyoto, Nara, etc.) or Beijing/Shanghai (I've been to Shanghai and have friends there, but I didn't love the place to be honest, would like to check some other cities like Hangzhou)
Appreciate any suggestions. I'm not really familiar with any of the European countries, but will do research based on suggestions here.
