18F planning 3-month Europe trip
Hi guys! I'm looking for advice/critiques to my Europe 2019 itinerary.
2 weeks each in:
London
Amsterdam
Frankfurt via Hamburg (1-2 nights in Hamburg)
Poland via Berlin (1-2 nights in Berlin)
Hungary (probably Budapest)
Venice area
Ending in Paris (1-2 nights)
Money: My budget is 2000 euros but am trying to drive that as low as possible.
Lodging: 50 euros. I won't be staying in hotels, instead using Workaway and then Couchsurfing as a fall back. This lack of expense is why my budget is so low.
Transit: 400 euros. Buying the FLIXBUS 99 euro pass to use for Amsterdam-Hamburg, Berlin-Poland, Poland-Hungary, Hungary-Venice, Venice-Paris.
Food: 25 Euros per travel day, won't need to buy food while doing Workaway. Any suggestions for places to eat would be much appreciated!
Cell phone: 75 euros here's where I need help finding something cheap but reliable, ideally under 25 euros a month for 500mb. If it helps, I'll be living in France for a year after that.
Entertainment: 30 euros per city, trying to find things to do for cheap/free
Misc spending money: other travel, food, souvenirs (I'm collecting postcards to be cheap) 50 euros per city
500 euros left to distribute around the other categories and to pay for activities I can't list for privacy reasons (concerts, etc)
Please feel free to let me know if you live in any of these cities and want to meet up, I'd love to get to know you! Thanks internet <3
