Weather advice - Southern states of America travel
I submitted a previous post asking for some advice on places to go travelling around the southern states of america and to cut a long story short i found a great escorted tour that I can meet other solo travellers. It has a great route > Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Georgia, and very briefly Florida.
However, the dates are either
1) early March
or
2) May 21 - 12 days long.
I am trying to consider the weather factor. March seems like mixed weather across the South (could be ok, could be storms) and I would have to pack heavier clothes. Whereas for May temperatures seem highest at 30 degrees Celsius which is ok for me as although I am Irish I do tan ok and don't get burnt much. Also going in May I would get a sun holiday in then too because Ireland doesn't see the sun much lets just say.
Please any thoughts on this before I pull the trigger (metaphorically that is) :)
