Tips for stops, places/food joints/nature along a New Orleans-Savannah-Charleston-Asheville-Atlanta route in Feb-March?
Hi
I asked in the askanamerican subreddit about places to visit in the South (LINK). Based on this among other things, we've bought tickets into New Orleans and out of Atlanta, and we'd like to visit at least Savannah, Charleston and Asheville during the trip.
Now we would like to know if, if you have any suggestions for fun or interesting stops along the way? Everything it pretty much up for grabs, but especially good food (bbq etc) and nature is appreciated. Live music and architecture and such would also be nice. As word unique quirky stuff along the road. Straight up partying and "boring" museums less so. We're a couple in our early 30s.
Thanks ahead, and let me know if you need more info/clarification!
