Hey everyone,

I'm moving to Vietnam in a couple weeks but have enough time and money set aside to visit another country before the start of my visa on February 6. I've narrowed it down to Malaysia or Taiwan. I want to spend a few days in a big city, a few hiking in the wilderness and a few lying on the beach. Both seem to meet these requirements and it appears that the cost of travel is relatively the same. Both countries will be new for me.
