Road Trip Summer 2019
Hello everyone. My fiancé and I are planning on a ~25 day road trip spanning mid-July into August. We can stretch our trip as far as 28 days, but no more than that due to work. Our route is mapped out in this link:

If our planned stops don't give it away, we're emphasizing the outdoors very heavily. We're avid hikers, and really want that to be the main focus of our trip. We aren't big city people, although we don't mind exploring them from time to time. The route itself is malleable, but some of our planned stops are what we consider MUST sees...those being Rapid City, Yellowstone, Glacier, & Grand Teton. The rest of the route is open for changes, although we really are trying to incorporate Idaho at a minimum as well.
We're basically looking for route suggestions and suggestions on places to stop that are outdoors/hiking related that could maybe break up the monotony and long distances between each stop. We're especially curious about Idaho and what we should do there, as well as what we should do after we see our 4 MUST sees. As of now, we've routed ourselves into Utah, but could probably do without honestly (we've been to Bryce and Zion already...although we would love to see Arches). Colorado is somewhere we'd like to dedicate an entire trip to, as there just seems to be so much to do there.
