Recommendations for studying abroad in London?
Hi all!
I'm currently a college student leaving for London for study abroad in a little over a week. I'm looking for recommendations for potential places to visit outside of London as short (2-3 day) weekend trips. A shortlist of cities that I have created includes (but is not limited to):
-Paris
-Amsterdam
-Prague
-Brussels
-Berlin
-Munich
-Milan
-Venice
-Barcelona
-Madrid
Budget: $350 USD / weekend trip, give or take. This includes flights, accommodation, food, etc. I don't mind staying in hostels or couch surfing at all, the cheaper the better!
Potential Dates: Weekends from mid January-early May. I would prefer to travel more in April/May when the weather is nicer- not sure about whether flight prices would go up at that time of year
Interests: I'm most interested in exploring a city's food, nightlife scene, and culture above all else. I am planning on sticking to bigger cities as I am not much of a nature person**.**
If anyone has insight into which of these cities listed above (or any others that you would recommend) would be convenient/cheap to travel from London I would really appreciate it! I am on a limited budget but would really like to explore more of Western Europe. It is also going to be my first time in London so any recommendations/tips for the city would also be great, thank you!
