Proposed Road trip Toronto to New Orleans and Back - Thoughts?
Hey! Planning a trip from Toronto to New Orleans. It's based around a 4 day bachelor party in New Orleans. My buddy and I want to make the most of it so we took 2 weeks to do a road trip around it.
We're two dudes, both 30 years old. We like to drink and party and eat. Also would love to see some historic, beautiful, or awesome things (science/space centre's etc). Is my plan too ambitious? Are we hitting anywhere that I should avoid? Missing anything I should hit? Any help is welcome!
I don't know much about the states. Never been to any of these places. I have just been googling and trying to plan what might be a fun trip, some good cities to hit, space out the drives properly etc.... So here's my rough plan.
Day 1:12 hours to NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE
Day 2: Rest NASHVILLE,TENNESSEE
Day 3: 3 hours to BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA
Day 4: 6 hours to NEW ORLEANS
Day 5: Rest NEW ORLEANS
Day 6: Rest NEW ORLEANS
Day 7: Rest NEW ORLEANS
Day 8: 8 Hours to JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
Day 9: Rest JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
Day 10: 6 hours to CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA
Day 11: 8 hours to LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY
Day 12: : Rest LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY
Day 13: 10 hours: HOME (TORONTO)
