Potentially have a 2 week university trip to Malaysia this summer - if I were to extend it for ~10 days where would you go?
As title says, looking at extending a university summer school trip to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur & Kuching) by about 10 days. I don't much about that area of the world at all and what there is to see and experience but I'd definitely like to see some of it while I'm out there - as long as the uni flights back aren't absolutely fixed, in which case no solo extension!
I have a friend who spent a few months in Vietnam/Cambodia/Laos and said it was absolutely incredible and another friend who recommended visiting the Perhentian Islands in Malaysia (though I am unsure how the visa we'll be getting with the university works and whether I'd be able to stay in Malaysia)
