My solo trip to Paris and London!
I did a big post with pictures and captions here on Imgur - but I'm happy to answer any questions below!
My first international solo trip was to Paris and Belgium last year, and I loved the experience so much that I decided to make it an annual thing for my birthday every January. I went back to Paris because I felt like six days hadn't been enough to see everything I'd wanted to do, and I found a flight for $300 USD and an AMAZING AirBnB that served breakfast for $80 a night. (I'm not really a hostel kind of girl - I need peace and quiet lol).
Paris in January is lovely because it's so much quieter and, if you're a shopping fan like me, all the sales are in full force. (France only has sales twice a year, so when they mark things down, it's often by like 60%! You can score insanely gorgeous clothes and shoes for great deals.) And some of the museums feel like they're abandoned due to lack of tourists, and it's so easy to get into restaurants, so if you don't mind a bit of cold, it's worth your time!
Paris is also a great central location to do day trips to other countries - I took the train over to London for one night/two days, and it was an easy 2 hour ride.
I'm very thankful to this community for inspiring me to do this for the first time last year! And I hope you enjoy. :)
