Looking for feedback on what events I should pre-purchase tickets for and what events I can by the day-of for my two week Europe trip
Hi all,
I will be going to Paris and Amsterdam this April and have put together a rough itinerary. I'd like to remain as flexible as possible and only purchase tickets in advance to what's absolutely necessary. With that in mind, here is my rough itinerary so far:
April 19th fly into Paris at CDG airport. (Will be flying in early morning) Will drop bags off at hostel until check in. Only thing planned is river Seine cruise
April 20 - Catacombs ( I hear this is something to pre-purchase tickets to as the get crowded). During later afternoon will see Notre-Dame and Sainte-Chapelle as they are close together.
April 21 -Musee D'Orsay. Moulin Rouge Dinner at night
April 22 - Lourve Visit . Visit Latin quarter
April 23- Day trip to Giverny
April 24- Check out of hostel, take train to Amsterdam. Take Canal cruise in Amsterdam that night
April 25= Keukenhof gardens morning. Van Goh Museum during afternoon if adequate time remains.
April 26- Rijksmuseum and walk around Jordann neighborhood
April 27- King's Day
April 28th- Hopefully not be too hungover and visit Utrecht by train.
April 29th- Check out of hostel
For the museums and churches, can skip the line tickets be bought online the night before? I'm thinking that I'll just need to pre-purchase tickets for the cruises and catacombs, but I'd appreciate feedback on the matter
(Also, I've visited Paris once when I was 15 and climbed the Eiffel tower, so that's why it's not included)
Thanks guys
