Ireland-Scotland Self-Drive Tour
Hey r/solotravel. 26F from Toronto, Canada. I was recommended this subreddit. I'm taking my first solo trip at the end of this March. I will be driving from Dublin to such counties as Killarney, Kerry, Cork, and then flying out of Dublin to Edinburgh, and driving from there up to Inverness and back down to Glasgow. In total I have 14 days to enjoy as much as I can. Any words of wisdom when travelling alone by car, doing some easy one hours hikes in Scotland, notes about local culture, or other dos and don'ts ? Other than the basic vigilance one should take on vacation is there something in particular to avoid or be weary of? I appreciate any and all advice. Cheers!
