How to escalate conversation past the usual hostel chat
I am a fairly introverted person but have no troubles sparking up a chat with fellow travellers.. but it always seems to follow the same pattern - where have you been, where are you going, where are you from, what do you do and maybe some chat about places we've been.
What I really struggle with is furthering the conversation... generally after those exchanges it becomes a little awkward as we run out of things to talk about.
Might sound like a stupid question - but how do I help facilitate further conversation?
