I've done a lot of small road trips in the Midwest (from northern Michigan with family in Dayton and Pitt) but never anything west of Chicago or St Louis, so I have no idea what route I should plan. I'm thinking 6 nights, 7 days, with the jumping off point being Dayton, Ohio. The goal is to have a day or so in Glacier Lake area, Montana, and then drive back. Thoughts on this? What are the interesting things to hit on the way? I'm open to camping, airbnb in cities, anything really!
