Can't walk and need suggestions what to do instead
I am a litte bit handicapped and had a surgery when i was a kid. It does not effect me in my daily life but when i travel i like to walk more than usual, about 10-15km a day (6-9 miles). The problem is when i do this 2 times in a row, the next day i can barely walk. So right now i am in budapest and it is the third day of my travel, i tried to walk in the city and do some sightseeing but i had to return to my hostel because i was not fun to limp around. When it is hot outside i like to just sit on a bench and watch people or read a book but in winter this is not really an option and it is not fun to stay in the hostel all day.
Are there redditors with similar problems and how you cope with it?
What are some activities you can do in a foreign country that don't involve a lot of walking or standing? I am more a shy person so it is not easy for me to talk to strangers at least when sober ;).
