Are we nuts to attempt to drive from Atlanta, Georgia to Gallon, Nevada, round trip, with 3 boys under 12??

Yes. But. My best friend (of 16 years!) and I have missed out on a lot of each other's lives, due to cross country moves. She has settled back home, and is getting married. She asked me to be her maid of honour in April!

I literally can't miss this.

And I'm bringing my whole crew. Husband of 6 years who has never been West of Alabama (!) and my 3 boys (11, 9, 5).

I would much appreciate any route tips ( I actually wanted to take the southern route the way there, and the northern route on the way back), travel tips, must see places, or things to avoid. Anything to make this trip bearable and hopefully enjoyable.

Oh yea, we have 2 weeks there and back 😂😂 Help!
